Game Modes

Choose how you want to experience your career. Each mode offers a different level of challenge and progression style.

ProManager Mode

Begin your journey in the lower divisions with modest clubs. Your goal is to meet season objectives and grow your reputation. As you succeed, you'll receive offers from stronger clubs in higher competitions, climbing your way to the top of football management.

Manager Mode

Select any club from any competition right from the start. There are no restrictions — take control of your favorite team and manage them to glory from day one. This mode offers complete freedom and is perfect for casual or sandbox-style play.

Employees

Learn more about each staff role in your club and how they contribute to your team's success.

Goalkeeper Coach

A specialist focused on training goalkeepers, helping them improve their reflexes, positioning, and shot-stopping abilities.

Passing Coach

Works with players to enhance their passing accuracy, vision, and overall ball distribution on the field.

Dribbling Coach

Helps players improve their one-on-one skills, agility, and control when maneuvering past opponents.

Finishing Coach

Focuses on improving players’ goal-scoring techniques, including shot precision, composure, and positioning in the box.

Tackles Coach

Trains players in defensive skills, teaching them how to recover the ball cleanly and effectively without committing fouls.

Shooting Coach

Works to develop the power, technique, and accuracy of a player's shots from outside the box or in open play.

Physiotherapist

Responsible for treating injuries, speeding up recovery times, and managing the overall physical well-being of the squad.

Psychologist

Supports players’ mental health and morale, helping them stay motivated and handle pressure in high-stress situations.

Director of Football

Oversees the club’s long-term sporting strategy, working closely with the manager to handle contracts, transfers, and squad planning.

Technical Secretary

Assists in data analysis, managing reports on player performances, opponents, and market movements to support decision-making.

Youth Academy Manager

In charge of developing young talents and managing the club's academy to ensure a future pipeline of skilled players.

Scout

Searches for new talents and evaluates potential signings, whether from domestic competitions or international markets.

Groundskeeper

Maintains the quality of the pitch and training facilities, ensuring optimal conditions for both training and matchdays.

Database Editor

The ProFootball Database Editor is a powerful tool designed to help you customize every aspect of the game's data.

Getting Started

Follow these steps to manage your game data effectively:

  1. Upload Database: Navigate to the Upload tab and select your database.json file.
  2. Explore Data: Use the Analytics tab for a visual overview or the Explorer for detailed tables.
  3. Edit Entities: Click on any row in the tables to edit Competitions, Clubs, Players, or Employees.
  4. Validate Integrity: Always run the "Validate Data Integrity" check before exporting to ensure there are no broken references.
  5. Export and Save: Download your modified database to apply changes to the game.
Advanced Features
Batch Importing

Import multiple clubs or players from external JSON files. The editor will automatically match them to existing entries or create new ones.

Global Search

Use the global search bar to find any competition, club, or player across the entire database instantly.

Analytics Dashboards

Visualize squad distribution, age ranges, and market values to ensure competitive balance in your custom database.
